The Current Situation
- Police are individually responsible for monitoring their surroundings.
- Police are often approached from behind.
- Often attacks are unprovoked crimes of opportunity.
- Police are frequent victims of ambush attacks that could be avoided.
Safety Blue Alert's Solution
- Allow the officer to be alerted of an approaching person or object.
- Allow the officer to view the person or object that is approaching.
- Communicate with subscribed channels at the push of a button.
- Learn and recognize common events and sounds so as to not provide false alarm.

Why Did We Develop This Project?
We recognize the imminent threat that needs to be addressed because of gathered statistics which indicate that Police ambushes are up 120% in the past year. Over the weekend of Feb 12th---13 Officers were shot Nationwide.
Police Ambush Solution
We interviewed several officers and asked what protection they had when on duty and parked in an isolated location. How do they know who is approaching the vehicle?
- THEY DO NOT KNOW WHO IS APPROACHING.
- SAFETY BLUE ALERT GIVES THE VEHICLE OCCUPANTS A 360" PERIMETER VIEW OF APPROACHING PERSONS OR OBJECTS.
